Before your appointment there are a few things you can do to make the experience and aftercare of your tattoo a bit easier. We think everyone should always remember that a tattoo is an open wound, if you give yourself lots of rest you should have an easier time during the healing process.
Please keep your own personal hygiene in mind, our artists really appreciate people who wear deodorant and shower.
You are welcome to bring a friend to the start of your appointment but once the tattooing starts we ask that they leave. This means our artists have fewer distractions and can give their full attention to your body art.
At Raven Heart Tattoo we have a strict 18+ policy, even if you have parental permission we require that you are 18 before getting inked.
You are of course welcome to bring food and drink into the studio we just require that it is vegan. We love that our space is a peaceful cruelty-free zone and want to keep that vibe going. There are multiple cafes, a dairy and a supermarket a couple of minutes walk from the studio.
Non-vegan ingredients include any meat products, dairy, eggs and honey. If you are unsure about any food items you want to bring into the studio please just ask.
If you're really lucky maybe one of our artists will introduce you to some tasty vegan treats.
Yes. We definitely have no problem with clients using numbing creams. When using a numbing cream we always just ask that you let our artists know beforehand.
It depends. If you are on any medication that may effect your skin or blood it is important that you discuss that with us before or during the appointment booking process.
This means that we can prepare and advise you best on what you may need to prepare before your appointment.
We use Fusion, Silverback and Dynamic inks which are all vegan.
During the tattoo process we use hustle butter rather than vaseline.
Depending on the design our artists usually will have them ready on the day of your appointment and any small changes can be made on the day. Otherwise you can make an appointment to come in and see the design beforehand.
Our artists often will not send designs over e-mail or messenger to protect their intellectual property.
